Optional Trip: to Abu Simbel Great Temples. Early in the morning, you have two ways to visit the Temples of Abu Simbel, about 280 KM south of Aswan, about 3.5 hours of driving. First, you`ll visit the two Temples of King Ramses II,19th (1290-1223 BC) Great Abu Simbel Temple was dedicated to the god Amon-Ra and to memorize the victories of the King, and Small Temple was dedicated to goddess Hathor and his wife Nefertari.
